Well the time has come...
Can you believe we are both graduating on the same day!? When does that ever happen!
Steven and I have been married for almost 3 years now and we have been going to school for our entire marriage. We actually both started college about a year or so even before we got married. We have only known what it is like to study all night and be poor college kids who only have part time jobs! Steve still has to go to graduate school, so the journey doesn't end here, but it is a huge stepping stone! I started college right out of high school and I have been a student ever since I was 5 and in Kindergarten!
Needless to say I am kind of nervous about this part of my life ending. I am so grateful that I am now trading being a student for being a mom! I couldn't be any happier to move on from this lifelong commitment to books and tests. It's just... Change is scary... I don't know how to be anything but a student! I'm sure I'll be loving my new role as a mommy come August when everyone else is starting school, but for right now, I am just a little sad to see it all go. I have loved this chapter of my life but now it's time to start a new one! I feel so grateful that I did get an education before we started having a family. I know I'll never regret it!
Graduation here we come!
We took this picture of our feet and sent it out with our announcement and wrote a little caption at the bottom saying we were excited to welcome baby Jack coming this June! I could just melt over how stinkin cute Winston is in this pic! He is such a sweet little puppy!
