32 Weeks

The board is back up on the wall! :) I always like to take my pictures after church, because I feel like that is the only day I really put effort into my clothing options anymore. haha

How far along: 32 weeks or 8 months.... What!? Getting just a bit nervous....

Babies measurements: 16.7 in. 3.75 lbs.

Total weight gain: 16 lbs.

Gender: Boy

Maternity clothes: Not in this pic. This is one of the only skirts that still fits me, and its so tight I can barely breathe! haha

Movement: He is so active this week! I was worried last week and he must have heard me, because oh my gosh! This little man cannot control any of his limbs! haha I don't quite know if that's a good thing or not....

Food cravings: Still Mexican, and chocolate milk.

Miss anything? Walking normal, I have started the waddle!

Belly button in or out? It's starting to bulge ever so slightly.... :(

Best moment this week: Nothing in particular, but we keep slowly adding to his room! I can't wait until it's all done!

Looking forward to: My showers! None of them have happened yet and I'm getting so anxious!

I took this picture for a class of mine called Eating Disorders and Body Image. Now obviously I don't have an eating disorder, but I just took it as an elective and there was a project due where you had to use some form of media to describe how you felt about your body. So naturally I took a picture of the one thing I love most about my body right now. I wrote a couple of paragraphs on my growing belly and the amazing things it has been doing and I realized how truly blessed I am! I was able to get pregnant with no complications and I have been able to carry this baby (almost full term) without anything wrong at all. I am grateful that the lord has put his trust in me raising this baby! I am so scared and excited all at the same time. I'm also so glad that I have been diligent at keeping up my progress each week because I know this will be such a treasure to me later on when I want to look back and remember this amazing time of growing a human in my belly. I'm glad I took this picture because I think it's nice to be able to focus only on my belly without the board or anything else distracting. Anyway, just a little tangent there! I had to share how grateful I am for this little baby and my body that can do miraculous things!

31 Weeks

Happy Easter everyone! Sorry about the strange spot of the board... You wouldn't believe the places this board has been! It has been hung in our old apartment, our living room, one wall of Jack's room, and now the opposite wall in his room! I know it's sad I keep moving it but it's actually a good thing! Because that means I am decorating all of these places and need to find a blank wall to put it! I just didn't have time to nail it up on this day. It really was Easter Sunday too! That was my "Easter Dress" that I had to show off!

How far along? 31 Weeks or 7 months

Babies measurements: 16.25 in. 3.3 lbs.

Total weight gain: 15 lbs. (I haven't actually gained weight in like a month!)

Gender: Boy

Maternity clothes: Thankfully not this dress. I did buy it while I was pregnant but I can wear it again afterwards!

Sleep: Back to restless nights...

Movement: He has been a bit quiet this week. That always seems to worry me, but I know I am just being paranoid!

Food Cravings: Mexican! Every. Day.

Miss anything? Being able to do any simple task without huffing and puffing my way through it!

Belly button in or out? Still flat!

Best moment this week: Some of his fabric came for his bedding! Now I just have to wait for the rest of it to show up....

Looking forward to: School being done. I only have a few weeks left!

30 Weeks

No Chalkboard this week :( We went to St. George for a quick trip and it was now or never time to take the picture (because this was at the END of my 30 weeks) So you just get a belly shot this week. Not a very great background either.... oops....

How far along: 30 weeks or 7 months
Babies measurements: 15.7 in. 2.75 lbs. Or about the size of a cabbage.
Total weight gain: 15 lbs.
Gender: Baby Boy
Maternity clothes: Not this shirt, although this was for sure the last time I wear it while I am pregnant.
Sleep: Has been compromised lately, because a certain furry friend thinks he has the right to sleep on our bed and take up my side.... He normally sleeps in his crate but lately Steve has been giving me sad eyes about letting him sleep in our bed!
Movement: Still getting stronger every day! He has found my ribs and pushes on them from the inside out! It certainly does not feel good. I sometimes tap on my belly and he responds by pushing back! So cute!
Food Cravings: Just Easter candy.
Miss anything? Breathing! haha I am always out of breath with whatever I do.
Belly button in or out? Still flat.
Best Moment this week: We bought a mommy car! I'll be sure to post a pic of it soon! Oh and my doctor says I am measuring two weeks ahead! :S he better stay in there as long as he can!
Looking forward to: His fabric should be arriving soon for his bedding!
